Tropical Storms, Hurricanes and the Tunnel
Given the expected path of Hurricane Ian, the Captain of the Port Sector Miami has declared Yankee Port Conditions as of tonight, September 27, at 8:00 p.m. Tonight's scheduled maintenance has been canceled. Due to Port condition Yankee, a decision has been made to close the tunnel. The tunnel will close at 8 p.m. tonight.
